About Me: Prof. Sayantan Ghosh is an accomplished academic and researcher with a Ph.D. in Geology and extensive experience in petroleum engineering, geomechanics, and reservoir characterization. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, where he teaches and mentors students while collaborating on technical projects. His professional journey includes roles at top institutions and companies, such as the University of Houston, Anadarko Petroleum, and BP, contributing to advanced research in hydraulic fracturing, petrophysics, wellbore stability, and geostatistical modelling.
