About Me: Dr. Amitesh Kumar has been a faculty member in the Department of Electronics Engineering at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad since 2011, and is currently Associate Professor. Prior to this, he has served as a faculty in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur. He did M. Tech. and PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad, India. He is a senior member of IEEE and OPTICA. His research interests include Photonic Integrated Circuits, Fiber Optic Sensors, Microwave Photonics, and Radio-over Fiber Technologies for 5G and Beyond.
