His research interests include mechanical behaviour of metals, structural integrity, development of high strength and damage tolerant steels, hydrogen embrittlement etc. He earned BE in Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing) from Annamalai University in 2013 and MTech in Materials Science and Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar in 2015. During his MTech research at CSIR-IMMT Bhubaneswar, he successfully developed Cu-Mo alloys as anode material for high-power microwave devices and published 02 research articles and 01 conference paper. After his MTech, he worked as an Ad-hoc Faculty in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at NIT Warangal for a year. He completed his PhD degree in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from IIT Bombay in 2021. During his PhD, he developed remarkably strong and damage tolerant nanostructured steels in bulk with a greater process control by heat-treatment alone. At present, he has 350+ citations, 12 journal articles (Q1-10, Q2-1, Q3-1), 05 conference proceedings and 1 Patent (Granted) in his credit. The current members in his research lab include 01 Post-doc, 01 Project JRF, 04 PhD, 02 MTech and 04 BTech students.
