About Me: Prof. Singh did M. Sc. from BHU Varanasi in 1994 and stood First class first with Chancellor Medal, Dr. S C De Medal and BHU Medal. Prof. Singh did Ph. D. from BHU in 1999 on the topic "Concentration Distribution of pollutants Along Unsteady Groundwater Flow in Aquifer". Prof. Singh has published more than 100 research papers in esteemed journals/conferences/Book Chapters etc. and reviewed research papers of international repute like Water Resources Research (AGU), Journal of Hydrology, Advances in Water Research and Hydrological Science Journal (IAHS), Hydrology and Earth System Sciences, Journal of Engineering Mechanics, Journal of Hydrologic Engineering etc. Prof. Singh has also edited 5 books/conference proceedings. Prof. Singh has guided M. Sc., Integrated M. Tech., M. Phil, and Ph.D. students for completing their dissertations. Prof. Singh has more than Twenty years Teaching career in Applied Mathematics, Mathematics and Computing, and having research experiences in the field of Solute Transport Modeling. Prof. Singh has produced 20 PhD for his credit. Prof. Singh has received Major Research Projects grant from UGC, CSIR, DST(SERB), NPIU, MHRD, New Delhi. Prof. Singh has the life member/member of various professional bodies such as The Mathematical Society, BHU, Varanasi; Bharat Ganeet Parisad, Lucknow; Indian Mathematical Society, New Delhi; Indian Association of Hydrologists(IAH), NIH, Roorkee, Association of Hydrologists of India (AHI), Vishakhapatnam, International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH), U.K.; International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS), U.K., American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Association of Global Groundwater Scientists (AGGS) etc. Prof. Singh has organized various conferences/workshops/Refresher Courses etc. and delivered Invited Talks in his areas of expertise. Prof Singh has also received Asian Education Award-2021 for the Best Mathematics Professor of the Year. Prof. Singh worked as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Groundwater Research published by AGGS since its inception. Prof Singh has also received IMTR Research Award-2021 and AGGS Fellow Award-2022. Prof Singh is worked as a Meditation Ambassador for “Har Ghar Dhyan” programme of Ministry of Culture in collaboration with The Art of Living Foundation for Meditation and Mental Health of the people from all walks of life at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. Prof Singh is a Nodal Officer, Monitoring and Outreach Implementation NEP-2020 Program, Dhanbad, Jharkhand for Four State Universities such as BBMKU Dhanbad, Nilamber Pitamber University, Palamu; Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh; Sido Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka. Prof Singh is a Nodal Officer, STEM Teachers Training for PM Shri School in Jharkhand and Expert Committee Member of AICTE, New Delhi.
