About Me: Dr. Leeza Malik is Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad. She is PhD in Transportation Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. Her core specialization in the field of transportation involves urban transportation planning and modelling, transportation economics, traffic safety, and traffic emission modelling. She finished her Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Panjab University Chandigarh in 2013. She was awarded University Gold Medal for her academic excellence in Civil Engineering. She later joined Indian Institute of Technology Delhi to earn her Masters and Ph.D. degree in the year 2015 and 2020 respectively. Her work focuses on developing sustainable and efficient transportation solutions, with a particular emphasis on mitigating environmental impacts and enhancing urban mobility.
