About Me: Dr. Manisha Verma is a faculty in Mathematics and Computing with expertise in computer vision and artificial intelligence. She holds an MSc in Industrial Mathematics and Informatics and a PhD in Mathematics from IIT Roorkee. Following her doctoral studies, she pursued postdoctoral research at IIT Gandhinagar and later at Osaka University, Japan. Her work spans multiple domains within computer vision, including affective computing, AI in healthcare, motion magnification, and image retrieval. She has published in esteemed journals such as TPAMI and presented at top-tier conferences like ICCV and WACV. Passionate about AI for social impact, she is committed to developing innovative solutions that address real-world challenges.
