About Me: I am Dr. Pawan Gupta, an Assistant Professor with a Ph.D. from IIT Madras, specializing in Petroleum Engineering. With over a decade of academic experience, I bring a strong foundation in teaching, mentoring, and research. My teaching portfolio includes subjects such as Unconventional Hydrocarbon Energy Resources (CBM, Shale, and Gas Hydrates), Petroleum Economics, Geomechanics, and Petroleum Engineering, employing innovative methods like flipped classrooms and research-driven discussions. My research focuses on gas hydrates, enhanced oil recovery (EOR), drilling fluids, and CO₂-Hydrogen storage, with notable contributions in methane recovery, hydrate-based gas storage, and nanoparticle-assisted EOR techniques. I have successfully led a sponsored research project, published in high-impact journals, and hold a patent on hydrate recovery systems. I aim to bridge the gap between academia and industry by delivering innovative solutions to global energy challenges.
