About Me: Ravi Kumar Gangwar received a Ph.D. degree in Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, India, in 2011. He is currently Professor & Head of the Department of Electronics Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) in Dhanbad, India. He has authored or co-authored over 132 research papers in reputed international journals and 120 papers in conference proceedings. His research interests include Dielectric Resonator Antenna, MIMO Antennas, Microstrip Antenna, and Bio-Electromagnetics. He has guided 10 Ph.D. students and 26 M.Tech. Students. Currently, 09 Ph.D. and 02 M.Tech. Students are working under his supervision. He has completed/ongoing 14 R&D projects (≈10 crores rupees) related to Dielectric Resonator Antenna and their applications from various funding agencies like DRDO, SERB-DST, ISRO, etc. He is a recipient of the IETE Smt. Ranjana Pal Memorial Award-2020 and Z. H. Sholapurwala Award - 2023. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE, USA, a Member of IET, UK, a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (FIE) India, and a Fellow of IETE (FIETE), India. He is an Associate Editor of IEEE Access and IET Circuit Device and System, the International Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, and the International Journal of Antenna and Propagation journals. He is also an external expert on the peer review committee for projects related to the chaff application of Defence Laboratory Jodhpur, DRDO. He is a reviewer of IEEE TAP, IEEE AWPL, IEEE APM, IEEE TVT, IEEE Communication, IEEE Communication Letter, IET MAP, IET Electronics Letters, MOTL, RFCAD, Scientific Report, etc.
