About Me: I have done my B.Sc. Engg., from BIT Sindri, Dhanbad, and completed my M.Tech and PhD from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. Further, I have been serving as a faculty in this department since 2007. I am a Fuel and Energy expert working in the analytical and applied pyrolysis research of National and Global interest. Thrust areas of my research are Thermochemical conversion of Coal, Biomass, MSW, and diverse utilization of their by-product in Thermal, Metallurgical, and Environmental applications. Ongoing research is focused on the utilization of Biochar in the Iron and Steel industries; Bio-oil as a Fuel oil and Transportation fuel; and Pyrolytic gas in Engine and Power applications. Based on my expertise, we have signed different MOUs with Govt and Private agencies Globally like Sentra.World India, Cogo India, PyroCCX GmbH Germany, etc., and currently leading the High-Value Project of amount Rs 6.12 Crores funded by Sentra.world Pvt Ltd., Bangalore
