About Me: I am Dr. Shibayan Sarkar, an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. I hold a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.E. in Water Resources & Hydraulics Engineering from Jadavpur University, followed by a Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee. My research focuses on fluid machines, pipe networks, and water resources, with a keen interest in hydrokinetic turbines and energy-efficient fluid systems. Over the years, I have contributed to several research projects, supervised Ph.D. scholars, and published in reputed journals. My work aims to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of fluid flow systems with applications in renewable energy and industrial hydraulics. With a passion for knowledge dissemination, I strive to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical applications, ensuring that my work benefits both academia and industry.
