About Me: I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics and Computing at the IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, India. Previously, I was an Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, and SRM University-AP, India. I received MS and PhD in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur in 2014 and 2021, respectively. During 2021-2023, I was an ERCIM “Alain Bensoussan” Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Informatics and Telematics (IIT) of the National Research Council (CNR), Italy. I have also worked with the Department of Information Engineering, University of Pisa, Italy as a Research Consultant for a few months. I have received research grants of more than INR 50,00,000 from Govt. of India and Intel Inc. My research interests are in Edge Computing and AI/ML applications in IoT, Wirelessly Powered IoT, and 6G Networks. I am a Senior Member of IEEE (SM’23) and was 2016 IEEE Richard E Merwin Student scholar. I have won the GE Edison Challenge 2013 with INR 10,00,000. I am an Editorial Board Member for Scientific Reports (Springer Nature), and reviewer for many IEEE Transactions and other reputed journals. I regularly serve as a TPC member and in the organizing committee of various reputed international conferences also.
