About Me: I am Ugrasen from the heartland of India. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology-Indian School of Mines (IIT-ISM) Dhanbad, India. I received my Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communication (EC) Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Bhopal, India, in 2015, and the Master of Technology (M. Tech.) degree in Communication and Signal Processing (CSP) from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, Indore, India, in 2018. I received my Ph.D. degree in Wireless Communication from Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi, India, in 2022. Before joining IIT Dhanbad, I worked as Postdoc Researcher in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at the Aalto University Helsinki, Finland. Before this, I was visiting researcher with the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Aalto University Helsinki, Finland, from May 2022 to August 2022 under the Finnish Indian Consortia for Research and Education (FICORE) Program.

Research Interest: My research focuses on the design and analysis of wireless communication systems. I have been working on Space Modulation Techniques (SMTs), Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS), Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA), Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM), Ultra-Reliable and Low-Latency Communication (URLLC), and Physical Layer Security.
