B. Prof. Ajit Kumar
(i) Collaborative research with Curtin University, Australia, through the Collaborative Doctoral Programme (CDP) under the Indo-Australian collaborative scheme between IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, and Curtin University. As part of this initiative, Mr. Shatrughan Thakur is jointly supervised with Prof. Apurna Ghosh and Prof. Ping Chang for his Ph. D. The research focuses on the design and development of an energy-efficient hydraulic drive unit for a chair lift man riding System.
(ii) Partnered with ifas, RWTH Aachen University, Germany, under DAAD Fellowship scheme. Under this program, Mr. Anurag Ravikumar Bante (21MT0068) was awarded a fellowship to conduct his M.Tech dissertation at ifas, RWTH Aachen University. The research, jointly guided with Prof. Katharina Schmitz, HOD, ifas, focused on Flow Characterization of a Priority Flow Control Valve Used in the Hydraulic System of a Mobile Machine and Its Failure Analysis.
