About Me: I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. I have also worked as an Ad-hoc faculty at the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Management, NIT Jamshedpur. I have published articles in reputed journals like AlterNative: An International Journal of Indigenous Peoples, Interventions: International Journal of Postcolonial Studies, IUP Journal of English Studies, etc. I have also worked as a reviewer of esteemed journals like Journal of Postcolonial Writing, Asian Ethnicity, AlterNative, etc.
Research Interest: Northeast Indian Anglophone Literature, Oral Tradition/Literature, Indigenous Studies, Postcolonial Studies, History And Myth

I have completed my Ph.D (2018-2024) in English Literature from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna.
I did my Masters from the University of Gour Banga in 2017.
I completed my Graduation in English Literature from Malda College under the University of Gour Banga in 2015.
Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad.

1. I have been awarded the Gold Medal for securing the position of First Class First in B. A Hons. in English Literature in 2015.
2. I have received NET JRF (UGC) in English Literature in 2017.
3. I have been awarded the IIARP Excellent Paper Award for presenting my article “Asserting Naga Cultural Identity and Challenging Colonialism in Easterine Kire’s Sky is My Father: A Naga Village Remembered” at the International Conference on Economics, Business, and Social Sciences (ICEBTS 2021), organized by International Institute of Academic Research and Publications, Bangkok, Thailand.
